WWW Wednesday #47 πŸŽ

Hi friends, I hope you’re all doing well. Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday; I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading!

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Night Shift: Amazon.co.uk: King, Stephen: 8601418031062: Books
On page 268
The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, Book 2): Tolkien, J. R. R.: 9780261102361: Books - Amazon.ca
On page 192
Swing Time: Amazon.ca: Smith, Zadie: Books
On page 37

Night Shift: I’m 54% of the way through; I’ve hit the halfway point, woo! This week’s short story… I actually really enjoyed… this is the first. The story was good, the pacing was good, the characters didn’t bug me – it was a solid story.

The Two Towers: I’m 43% of the way through; I haven’t been able to read as much of this as I’d like – all the online Christmas shopping I’ve been doing. πŸ˜… I’m still enjoying this journey, even if it feels like the plot hasn’t moved much, it’s slow going, but I’m okay with that.

Lastly, I’m readingΒ Swing Time by: Zadie Smith, I just started this today and I’m not very far to have a real opinion yet. So far, I like the ballerina plot and I’m curious why the novel is split in two, guess I’ll have to read to find out!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

Follow Me (The Amateurs, #2) by Sara Shepard
A Sin Such as This: A Novel: Hopkins, Ellen: 9781476743691: Books - Amazon.ca

Last week I finished Follow Me by: Sara Shepard and boy did I whip through this. This novel is only 260 pages, but I read it so quickly. I was worried that it wouldn’t live up to the standard I hold the first novel in, but this was a solid novel too. I can’t wait to get my hands on the third book because this ended on a cliffhanger!

I also finished A Sin Such as This by: Ellen Hopkins. This is a sequel to her novel Love Lies Beneath and this definitely closed out the story because the first book didn’t feel final, but eh, I enjoyed reading it but Hopkins took her time and then rushed the ending, I wasn’t a fan of that.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

I have come back from the library yet again today as Scythe by: Neal Shusterman finally came in, woohoo! So now that has moved to the top of my list (sorry books I own!). I’m still keeping the books I own from last week because I do want to get to them soon!

The Priority of the Orange Tree by: Samantha Shannon
Dear Martin & Dear Justyce by: Nic Stone

Scythe (Volume 1): Shusterman, Neal: 9781442472426: Books - Amazon.ca
The Priory of the Orange Tree: Shannon, Samantha: 9781635570298: Books - Amazon.ca
Dear Martin: Amazon.ca: Stone, Nic: Books
Dear Justyce (Dear Martin, #2) by Nic Stone

What are you all reading?
