WWW Wednesday #41 ๐Ÿ•ธ

Hi friends, I hope you’re all doing well. Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday; I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading!

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Night Shift: Amazon.co.uk: King, Stephen: 8601418031062: Books
On page 128
The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, Book 1): Tolkien, J. R. R.: 9780261102354: Books - Amazon.ca
On page 176
Five Dark Fates (Three Dark Crowns, #4) by Kendare Blake

Night Shift: I’m 26% of the way through; I’m not surprised that I thought this next short story was decent, it fits with the pattern for me. It wasn’t my favourite and it didn’t blow me away, but it was a lot better than last week’s and the ending was pretty good.

The Fellowship of the Ring: I’m 32% of the way through; it’s still the beginnings of the adventure, this is a slow tale and I’m a-ok with that. I like how Tolkien takes his time to tell the story.

Lastly, I’m readingย Five Dark Fates by: Kendare Blake, this is the final novel in this series and I’m not loving it, but I’m not disliking it either. I’m really hoping for a good battle ending. I have roughly 100 pages left and I’m hoping to finish it tonight, let’s hope it can wow me!

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

Nicholas Sparks The Wedding

I finished The Wedding by: Nicholas Sparks, honestly this took waaaay longer than it should have. For a novella, that was only 215 pages it took me ages! ๐Ÿ˜… Anyways, this wasn’t my favourite, I was so ready to rate it lower than what I ended up rating it because that ending โ€“ I wasn’t prepared for a plot twist that wasn’t sad from Sparks, who would have thought? So, in the end I gave it 4 stars.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUโ€™LL READ NEXT?

I’m not going to add anything new โ€“ I have 3 new books that my friends bought me last weekend, but I know I’m not going to get to them any time soon so I will spare them from sitting here for months on end.

Everything from last week:

Still Life With Tornado by: A.S. King
Origin by: Dan Brown
Each of Us a Desert by: Mark Oshiro
The Lost Book of the White by: Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu
A Blade so Blackย by: L.L. McKinney

A Blade So Black: Amazon.ca: McKinney, L.L.: Books
Still Life with Tornado: Amazon.ca: King, A.S.: Books
Origin eBook by Dan Brown - 9780385542692 | Rakuten Kobo Canada
Each of Us a Desert by Mark Oshiro
The Lost Book of the White (Volume 2): Amazon.ca: Clare, Cassandra, Chu, Wesley: Books

  1. I have read Lord of the Rings many years ago, but I remember loving it a lot despite it being quite dense. I definitely need to reread it some time in the future. I hope you enjoy the book as you continue reading it. ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Thank you! I agree I’m really enjoying it despite the slow pace โ€“ I think it’s perfect timing because I just need something slower ๐Ÿ˜Š
I hope you decide to re-read the trilogy because it’s definitely worth it!
