Hi friends, I hope you’re all doing well. Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday; I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading!
Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
The Stand: I’m 77% of the way through; I think the chapters are beginning to get shorter again and I’m okay with this because it’s less useless plot/character dialogue. This week actually had some good rising action that I believe is going to result in the climax of the story very soon.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: I’m 3% of the way through; I bought the box set a few months ago, and now that I’ve finished the Uglies series I need something to read a chapter a day (I’m doing this 2 chapters a day as they’re short). So far this has been intriguing, I can’t wait to dive in deeper.
Lastly I’m reading nothing! I finished so much this week, and I have a lot of writing to catch up on so I’m going to do that before I dive into my next ebook!
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished reading The Conference of the Birds by: Ransom Riggs, which means I’ve finished reading all the novels that have been released in the Miss Peregrine’s series to-date. That went by quicker than I thought it did. This novel was just as good as A Map of Days and I so want the next novel soon because DAMN that ending!
I also finished The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion by: Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba… another series I’ve finished everything that has been released; I have to say this went by so fast too! I love these comics they are so fun, wacky and highly addictive, I can’t wait for season 2 of the Netflix adaptation to hit July 31 to quench my Umbrella Academy thirst!
GUYS! I finally finished Extras by: Scott Westerfeld; what a ride of a series. This book was alright, as you’ve followed me throughout reading it, this had it’s ups and downs, but if I’m being honest, this series lost it’s luster after the first book.
I also finished The Poet X by: Elizabeth Acevedo… this was also my first ebook over 200 pages! I LOVED this book SO much! I still have to write my review, but wow this novel packs a punch and it hits on so many important topics. I highly recommend it!
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?
Tough question! I haven’t picked my next ebook yet, so this is going to be left blank this week!
