Hello friends! Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday! I thought this would be a fun way to see a snapshot of what I’m reading! I hope you’re all doing well, I hope the weather is good wherever you are in the world! We’re still under a heat wave here!
Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and revived on Taking on a World of Words. Just answer the three questions below and leave a link to your post in the comments for others to look at.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
The Stand: I’m 47% of the way through; I’m SO close to halfway through this… SO close! I thought I’d hit it this week, but alas. Plots are starting to really take off, you can tell that there is a definite bad guy and all the main characters are trying to get away from him. These longer chapters are really allowing us to understand the characters better.
Extras: I’m 32% of the way through; this is moving slowly, I’m enjoying it but the pace is very slow.
Lastly I’m reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by: Ransom Riggs. I decided to re-read this series as I haven’t read the last two books that have been released (I just got the latest book in the mail, yay!) and since I’m running out of things to read, here we go rereading! I’m enjoying being back in this strange world again.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished my reread of The Picture of Dorian Gray by: Oscar Wilde. Again, without fail this was able to engross me. After reading this 12 times… how I only realized that Dorian is a scorpio now is crazy, but it explains SO much, haha!
I also finished reading The Song Rising by: Samantha Shannon; I loved this third novel. It’s short, shorter than the past two novels, yet SO much happened and I had a lot of fun reading it.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?
Well, since I’m re-reading the whole Miss Peregrine‘s series the next book I’m reading will be Hollow City by: Ransom Riggs. I think I’m also going to read The Girl From the Well by: Rin Chupeco. I’ve had this book on my shelf since February, my friend gave me her copy because she didn’t want it anymore, and I just bought the sequel and it came in the mail, so it only makes sense to read it now!
