Books to Read in Pairs

Hi guys! I’m here with another book tag! 🙂 Today I’m going to be talking about books to read in pairs… not Paris, as I originally read it 😝Thank you Beth @ Reading Every Night for tagging me in this. If you don’t already follow Beth, why? go follow her, she’s really sweet! ☺️

Girl on the Train by: Paula Hawkins & Try Not to Breathe by: Holly Seddon.

These books are both very similar, although I would prefer Try Not to Breathe more. Both take place in the UK; both deal with an alcoholic main character; both deal with trying to find something/or someone. The plots are different, and the writing styles are different too, both were enjoyable.

The Things We Keep by: Sally Hepworth & Still Alice by: Lisa Genova.

Both of these books deal with early onset Alzheimer’s disease; both books tackle the subject a little differently; both books are sad.

Wolf by Wolf by: Ryan Graudin & Front Lines by: Michael Grant.

Both of these books deal with WWII; both have a very different take on the war, but both still see the struggle of war.

The Tears of Dark Water by: Corban Addison & Life of Pi by: Yann Martel.

Both take place out to sea, one deals with a tiger on board, the other pirates.

The Kopp Sisters books by: Amy Stewart & The Schuyler Sisters Trilogy by: Beatriz Williams.

The plots are completely different, but they both deal with 3 sisters and they are all badass women! I couldn’t get enough of either series!

  1. I haven’t read many of these books by Wolf by Wolf is a favourite of mine (honestly I loved both books in that duology) so I’ll have to check out Front Lines now. Life of Pi is another book I really enjoyed (not really my usual genre but it surprised me a little) and The Tears of Dark Wager sounds interesting too (I love that cover!) May end up being another book on my TBR list!
    Great post Meghan. 🙂 ❤️
