Hello my fellow bloggers, welcome to another tag post! I’m calling this week ‘tag week’ because I have quite a few to get through, and why not dedicate a week to it.
I want to thank Gretchen at chicnerdreads for tagging me, show some love and check her out! I’m excited so let’s get started!
- E-book or Physical book?
Physical books. I haven’t tried e-books, I’m indecisive with trying them because of my very sensitive eyes. I cry at everything because my eyes just can’t handle light, and with the amount I read I would be crying a lot.
2. Paperback or Hardback?
My first instinct is to say paperback. I love the lightweight feel of them. But on the other hand, hardcover are prettier and not as easy to get ruined. I think I’d still go with paperback.
3. Online or In-Store Book Shopping?
I always in-store shop just because I hate shipping fees; I know the deals are way better online, but those fees, I’m all for that free shipping life.
4. Trilogies or Series?
It all really depends on the story, if it’s a really good one I love reading more of the books. If it’s not that great I’m good with it being a trilogy- but then you have those trilogies that are so good you wished they had more books, ugh such hard questions… Last answer trilogies- less to keep track of.
5. Heroes or Villains?
Villains who turn into heroes? 😉 But really I love villains!
6. A Book You Want Everyone To Read?
This is going to be a common theme throughout these tags, but The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
7. Recommend an Underrated Author?
Shameless plug right here, but a friend of mine writes really brilliant stories, Lisa de Nikolits.
8. The Last Book You Finished?
At the time of writing this, The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West.
9. Weirdest Thing You’ve Used as a Bookmark?
Haha, uhm let me think. I’ve used my phone, my iPod, but that’s not really weird is it? I’ve also used my earbuds, I can’t really think of anything else.
10. Used Books: Yes or No?
Yes. They have character used books.
11. Top Three Favourite Genres?
Horror, contemporary, and fantasy.
12. Borrow or Buy?
Borrow. That’s how I read most of my books, otherwise I wouldn’t have a very good book blog. I live for my Saturday library trips. I actually just got back from a trip a few hours ago and I came out with a lovely stack of books! 🙂
13. Character or Plot?
I think novels have to have good plots to help support their characters. Although that could work the other way around too. Hard question, but without a plot what is a novel?
14. Long or Short Books?
I like short books because I can read more of them faster.
15. Name The First Three Books You Think Of
All The Bright Places by: Jennifer Niven
Undertow by: Michael Buckley
A Court of Thorns and Roses by: Sarah J. Maas
16. Books That Make You Laugh or Cry?
Books that make me laugh. I love when a book can make me laugh out loud. I just love to laugh, how cliche.
17. Our World or Fictional Worlds?
Fictional worlds because they are more fun.
18. Audiobooks: Yes or No?
I haven’t tried to listening to an audiobook, but I am willing to give it a go. I really want to listen to the Harry Potter audiobooks. So my answer is yes.
19. Do You Ever Judge a Book by it’s Cover?
All the time, yes.
20. Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?
I would say book to movie because with a tv show things can get really lost, and be deviated from the book. With a movie you don’t have as much for that wiggle room to go off course (although some movies do).
21. A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred to its Book?
I’m going with The Notebook but that’s probably because I read the book after I’d seen the movie quite a few times.
22. Series or Standalone’s?
I’m going standalone.
And that’s it! Well that was fun! I’m not going to tag anyone, but if you haven’t done this tag and want to, go right on ahead! 🙂
